Easee may be relatively new to the UK market, but this Norwegian brand is well established on the continent and has quickly gained a fearsome reputation since landing on our shores. Due to some unique features, it may be on the way to conquering the domestic competition:

The Easee One can be tethered or untethered, so you have the best of both worlds. Your charging cable can be locked into the unit if desired, turning an untethered socket into a more convenient tethered unit. When the neatness of a socket is required, or you need to remove the cable then it can simply be disconnected.

As the popularity of electric vehicles continues to grow, the 2 or 3 EV household will be a common situation.  The Easee One allows you to have up to three units connected together on the same circuit.  The clever software then gives you numerous options. You may for example decide to share the power equally between the vehicles or perhaps prioritise one vehicle to charge first if that is your preference.

The Easee One is so versatile that you can prepare your installation ready for future chargers to be added. So, you can install all the cabling for up to 3 units by installing the docking stations but only fit one charging robot.  You can then add the additional robots when you are ready without having to do any more wiring.  Each one can be given equal or different priority and you could even have contrasting colours.

Connectivity is achieved by either using your home Wi-Fi or by using 4G via the built in SIM. So wherever you live, connectivity should never be an issue. The Easee One is RFID ready as standard, so would be suitable for small, shared accommodation situations.

The Easee One is packed with features but it is also small in size and attractive to the eye. The standard colour is black but there are another 4 coloured face plates available that can be easily added to suit your taste.  The units are built to withstand harsh Scandinavian conditions so should easily repel anything we can throw at it here in the UK.

The free Easee One App is simple to use but gives you loads of control over you charger or chargers. The information is displayed in a very user-friendly format and navigating the pages is a breeze.

This charger is not the cheapest but sits mid-range when it comes to price.  However, it contains features that you would expect from a premium model and in many ways outshines its more expensive adversaries.
